Sunset Pictures

This pillar of light was interesting. Unfortunately, couldn't see the sunset yet. The sunset party was in the New Station at left.

Everything was set up in a corner on the second floor.

It is easy to see that the station is quite high from this picture.

Kirk, Meghan, Hurricane and Steve. Obviously there isn't much to look at outside.

This was the first time being in the new station for some people, including me.

This large wing will eventually contain 25 dorm rooms.

Same thing just below on the first floor.

A view out a window that will be in one of the 50 dorm rooms, each meant to house one person.

Several days later we could finally see the sunset.

A bunch of us gathered in Skylab Lounge for a better look.

We had to wait a few minutes for the sun to come back from behind the Atmospheric Research Observatory.

The view and colors were even more spectacular through the reflecting telescope

Green was the most prominent color.

Marc and Charlie watch the sunset while Eric takes pictures.
