Antarctica Education

This Web Site
A major goal of this web site is to increase knowledge of and appreciation for Antarctica. It is for this reason that I try to keep an informative journal and always try to answer every question I receive about Antarctica or the South Pole. This web site is for you. If you have any questions or ideas for improvements, please contact me.

Group Presentations
Another way I have and plan to continue to encourage education about Antarctica is speaking to groups about my experiences on the White Continent. If you would like me to speak at your school or group, I may be able to do so, however, I am limited geographically to where I can do these presentations. I will be traveling all around New Zealand for much of November 2001 and hope to spend a little time in Hawaii in early December. I will be in the Minneapolis, Minnesota area the second half of December 2001. In January 2002 I plan to be in Phoenix, Arizona. If you would like for me to present to a group in or near one of these areas, please contact me and we may be able to arrange for me to come and speak. I will also consider making a trip elsewhere, especially if travel or lodging expenses are covered.

Although my primary emphasis will be to share my experiences with non-profit and educational groups, I will also consider presenting to for-profit companies or events. If you would like me to speak to such a group, please contact me and we may be able to negotiate terms.

National Science Foundation
The National Science Foundation administers the United States Antarctic Program and one of their tasks and goals in doing so is to educate the public about the amazing Southern Continent.
